On 25 May 2018, the application of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: the Regulation) was initiated in all EU Member States, including Croatia. We have aligned our compliance with the requirements of the Regulation regarding the processing and protection of personal data, and how this privacy policy is regulated (hereinafter: Policy). We sail d.o.o. handles those personal information that you have provided by yourself, the ones we have obtained from our analysis or that we have collected from other sources and that are necessary to achieve certain business purposes in a legitimate and secure manner in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation, other applicable legal regulations and these Politics.
This Policy applies to the processing of personal information that we are collecting within our business, regarding in particular your use of our website www.wiisail.com.
We sail d.o.o., acknowledges and appreciates your right to data confidentiality and undertakes to preserve the privacy and security of the information you share with us directly or through the web. It is very important to us that you understand the way we collect and use your information we need to protect. Therefore, this Privacy Policy explains our practice of collecting and using your information and in which way you can contact us.
We sail d.o.o. collects, processes and retains your personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (OG 103/03, 118/06, 41/08, 130/11, 106/12), General Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter: the Regulation), the Ordinance on Protection, Supervision of the Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data of the trade company We sail JD, and other valid regulations in the Republic of Croatia and the EU.
We sail d.o.o. guarantees that no data will be forwarded to third parties without your prior permission, but our Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection on the Web site and the Notice Board can change over time, so please review it periodically to get acquainted with any changes.
In principle, personal data is considered to be any information that can be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly, in particular with the help of identifiers such as name, surname, identification number, location information, network identifier, or with the help of one or more factors specific to physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of an individual.
By virtue of the Regulation, you have different rights, of which we will notify you in detail in this Policy. If you have any questions, concerns or requests regarding our processing of your personal information, please contact us through the contact details below.
We sail d.o.o. collects personal information from you solely for the purpose of concluding a chartering agreement, if you would like to book a boat from our offer, for the composition of the crew list, or to enter into a business cooperation agreement with external co-workers. Information is collected solely when you are looking for a quote, for an information or if you book a boat with us.
When you rent a boat with us, we will ask your name, family name, gender, place and country of birth, date and year of birth, citizenship, place and country of residence, number of passport / passport number, skipper license number, radio station license number. If you decide to pay with your credit card we must also ask for your credit card details. The above information is required for the conclusion of the Brokerage Agreement in the ship charter, and the composition of the crew list. We forward it to the Ministry of the Interior and to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure to obtain a residence tax for you, and the billing information is forwarded to the Tax Administration. Also, your information is forwarded to our external associates, ie charter companies whose boat you rented.
If you only submit a request for a quote or information then we will only ask you for the following information - name, last name and email address. We do not forward these data to third parties and we store them in an email company using the technical and organizational measures that this company has regulated by the Ordinance on Protection, Supervision of Collecting, Processing and Use of Personal Data.
If you are an external collaborator, we request you to make a contract providing name, surname, address and OIB, and to pay an IBAN number information. The above data is handled by the external data processing officer and forwarded to the Tax Administration, and if we only receive from you a bid to conclude the Contract then we do not forward the data, but we store it in our database in computer form, applying the technical and organizational measures that this trading requires and the company shall regulate the rules for protection, control over the collection, processing and use of personal data.
Use of Your Personal Information
We collect and use your personal information only on the legal or contractual basis and, exceptionally, upon your expressed and freely given consent to the personal information provided, whether by registration or through the use of the Site, it is collected and used only for the purpose and in the manner specified in this Privacy Policy .
We collect personal information in a computer and in a handwritten record, and perform IT security measures and technical protection measures to prevent access to personal information by unauthorized access by unauthorized persons.
Received electronic mail (email) containing your personal information that can identify you, regardless of whether it is an electronic mail or a filled out form on our web pages, it is only used to meet your requirements.
Keeping and accessing your personal information
The personal information that you have given us when concluding a contract or submitting a query by mail will be kept within the deadlines stipulated by our policy for each particular category of data we process.

We sail d.o.o. take all available measures to prevent unauthorized access to your personal information but can not guarantee that some of the information will not be disclosed by chance. Therefore We sail d.o.o. to the greatest extent permitted by law, excludes liability for damages caused to users or third parties. We strictly prohibit any unauthorized attempts to modify data at We sail j.d.o.o.
The rights of the examinee
For the purpose of exercising my rights to personal data from the Processing Manager I have the right to ask:
a. access to my personal information,
b. correcting or deleting my personal data,
c. limit the treatment that pertains to me as an examinee,
d. file an objection to the processing of such data,
e. the right to transfer the data;
f. the withdrawal of this consent if the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing which was based on the agreement before it was withdrawn.
